Buoy Crew Assistant
o Under the direction of the Navigation Aids crew supervisor, the Buoy Crew Assistant will:
o Assist in maintaining the NY statewide navigable buoy marker system, providing critical safety information to boaters. o Provide assistance to the crew supervisor in the completion of buoy placements in the spring and removal in late fall. o Maintain buoys and all equipment needed to haul, place, remove and repair navigational aids for the public waterways in NYS.
